અમે જૂનો ભરવાડ જેમ ઘેટાં ગણે ને એમ
દિવસો ગણીએ કે હવે કેટલા?
તમે દીધા સંભારણાના પરદા ઊંચકાય નહીં
લોચનમાં થાક હતા એટલા.

અમે પીછું ખરે ને તોય સાંભળી શકાય
એવા ફળિયાની એકલતા ભૂરી
તમે ફળિયામાં આવીને એવું બેઠા કે
જાણે રંગોળી કોઈ ગયું પૂરી
